YN Program

The CONECA Young Numismatists (YN) Program

CONECA is a strong advocate of, and dedicated to, the encouragement of young people (up to age 18) in becoming involved in numismatics in general and Mint Errors and Varieties in particular. The club feels this encouragement is an "investment in the future."

There is currently a contest for the best article written by a YN of 250 words or more on his or her favorite variety or error and how they got their start in collecting error-variety coins. There will be prizes awarded for the best article that were donated by members Neil Osina and Ken Potter.

Periodic mail auctions are also planned so that youngsters can add to their collections at a nominal cost.
